Gord Smith
Gord Smith Gord is happily married to his one wife of thirty years Desiree and they have two biological children with four grand children and two adopted boys. Gord realized the brevity of life and fragility of humanity many years ago. With eternity as a focus and the instruction to lay up for yourself treasure in heaven. Gord stepped by faith into chaplaincy over twenty years ago He holds inter provincial licence as a journeyman auto technician and trained for ten years through Church involvement before accepting his call into chaplaincy. Reverend Les Fischer
Reverend Les Fischer Les works as a volunteer Chaplain and he feels it truly is an honor serving the Lord in this capacity, and his prayer is that all will find purpose and strength from the Lord Jesus Christ as he has. Currently he serves as Senior Pastor of the Strathmore Full Gospel Church. He is married to Diane who serves with him in this Ministry, and also works full time at the Strathmore Town Office in the finance department. He proudly acknowledges that his Church Elders have released him for one half day a week to serve in the Chaplaincy Department. We consider this sowing into the Kingdom. Praise The Lord! Diane and Les arrived in Strathmore two years ago, after pastoring in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan for twelve years and eight years in Eston, Saskatchewan where he attended Full Gospel Bible Institute and at Eston Full Gospel Church. Les and Diane were born and raised in Hanna, Alberta and have worked in various careers. They have two sons who are both married and living in Alberta; and they are blessed knowing both our sons and their wives know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Caring for people and telling them about Jesus Christ and the gift of Salvation has been an integral part of our lives. The Chaplaincy program is just another way of sowing the gospel into people's hearts and then watching the Holy Spirit use the seed to produce new birth into the people. Part of Les's testimony involves the deliverance from alcoholism. A great part of his Ministry has been drawing from his past mistakes and turning them around into good. You too can be free from any addiction. The following prayer and Scriptures have been a big part of his life, so he wants to share them with you, and he looks forward to serving you as a Chaplain.
A.A. Prayer: God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference.

II Timothy 1:7                                                   Colossians 3:17
God has not given me the spirit of fear             And what ever you do in word or deed do
But of power, love, and a sound mind.                all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
Giving thanks to God the Father through HIM.
Roland Balisong
Roland Balisong Roland is from the Philippines and he has just started a new Church. He is working at the Salvation Army store and what a great place for Ministry, and he also enjoys being part of this Ministry. Roland is married to Ruth and they have three children.
Carl Klywak
Carl Klywak Carl is married to Judy and they have two teen age sons. Carl's business is "AGAPE WOOD PRODUCT'S". He was raised in a home of my uncle and aunt who both went to church, as a kid he went with them but only because he had to. His aunt/mother loved Jesus with her whole heart no matter what was going on, good or bad. Psalm 34: 1 – 4 He became saved on February 9th, 2003 after a struggle with my mother's passing; my mother (aunty) died from a long battle with cancer on June 23rd, 2002. He remembers walking into her hospital room and she sat up in her bed like a baby in their crib, with a smile and glow on her face. She told him that she was going to heaven soon!! Well that really twisted his brain, how someone in that much pain could still smile and glow. When he returned home after the funeral; every night around 2:00-3:00am he was awakened by a knocking sound. He thought that someone was trying to break in the garage or raiding the garden. Eight months later he became a child of our Lord, at which time the knocking sound stopped. He really believes it was Jesus at the window knocking. Revelation 3: 20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into him, and live with him, and he with me."
Reverend Moses Adekola
Reverend Moses Adekola "What can I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me?" (Psalm 116:12) "God is good all the times. All the time, God is good." Moses was born and raised in Nigeria by Muslim parents. In the early years, he attended Arabic School. Later on one of his Christian uncles requested from his Dad if Moses could attend a Christian Missionary school; his Father did not object. In 1956, he was enrolled at that school. The following year he had the "good news" of Jesus Christ preached by Rev. McIver and his wife; and Moses gave my life to the LORD. Psalm 27:10, 1 Peter 5:7 were powerful texts in his life. No matter what, God is able to carry you through. In the early 70's he received his call into the Christian Ministry. In 1985, his Father wanted him to abandon all his studies in the U.S.A. and come home. Moses obeyed him and he gave his heart to the LORD at the age of 110. Three weeks later, he passed on into Glory. After two years, my Mother followed the suit. She was alive and healthy in Nigeria until the age of 98. God has done it all. The glory and honor belongs to Him. Moses says, "All of my theological Masters degrees are useless if they are not used for the glory of GOD and the betterment of others." Psalm 103:1 "Praise the LORD O my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name." Praise the LORD. We can not make it to Heaven on my own merit. Jesus has fulfilled that for us. Therefore, "for me to live is Christ and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21. Moses is married to his precious wife Sarah.
